Last year, Amar cut down the time he spent in the shower to reduce the amount of water he let go down the drain. By limiting the duration of his showers, he saved around 30 L of water per shower! He’ll be continuing his campaign this year in support of PeaceGeeks! @Trekkerpedia
Recognizing that critical resources for newcomers into BC are often only available in English, PeaceGeeks developed Arrival Advisor to streamline information and services for recent immigrants and refugees to BC. And this is why we #GiveItUp4Peace.
Arrival Advisor is a free, multilingual app by @PeaceGeeks that helps immigrants and refugees in BC find information and services to plan their settlement journey. Last year, we raised $1,450 to contribute to over $18,000 raised in total to support this amazing project.
