Just found this old experiment I did a few years ago to automate a character walkcycle in #aftereffects I adapated a "Piriform Curve" math formula found on mathworld.wolfram.com/PiriformCurve.… and linked the same value to control the foot, pelvis and arms. All procedural and very flexible :)
