BES SEED Network
@BES_SEEDNet
We are a @britishecolsoc network for ecologists from under-represented socioeconomic groups, including #FirstGen and working-class backgrounds.
The BES SEED Network is on Twitter! If you haven’t heard of us before here’s a quick thread (🧵) going over the what, why, how, who, where, and when of the SEED Network.
Great opportunity for undergraduates - with a £3000 stipend and free housing for the duration of the placement. Closes Feb 22nd!
Applications are NOW OPEN! The Undergraduate Bursary Scheme provides students from underrepresented backgrounds with 5-6 weeks of hands-on work experience in a museum. Projects cover natural sciences research, museum collections management, and public engagement with science.
Thanks so much to everyone that joined us for a chat at #BES2023! 🌱
Come meet us tonight at #BES2023, along with our friends at the ALDER, EDGE, and @ReedEcolNet networks!
Come say hey and enjoy some great company! Not only do we have a REED social where you can meet some of our committee and other members, but it is part of a larger Intersectional ecology mixer with the ALDER, EDGE and @BES_SEEDNet networks! You won’t wanna miss it! 😎
