You pushed for us to leave the EU, to drop food standards and allow deregulated slop. Brexit screwed British farmers and British consumers and our high British-European standards.
And if and when Russian special forces capture Polish PM Donald Tusk or Moldova’s PM Alexandru Munteanu, what will we say? Europe has real common interests, especially commitment to international law, very different to Trump’s.
Surely the danger is it’s the exact opposite. If America can do that, why do we have to care about the international rules based order?
The American actions in Venezuela overnight are unorthodox and contrary to international law — but if they make China and Russia think twice, it may be a good thing. I hope the Venezuelan people can now turn a new leaf without Maduro.
“The billionaire class has sought to convince those making $30-an-hour that their enemies are those earning $20-an-hour. They want the people to fight amongst ourselves so that we remain distracted from the work of remaking a long, broken system.” -Zohran Mamdani

I see the @Telegraph is now reporting on the Australian trade deal disaster for which it campaigned. Nobody, and I mean *nobody*, has betrayed this country like the libertarian wreckers who lied to the public about ‘Brexit benefits’.
Oh look ! Turns out the author of the ‘BBC bias’ memo, appointed by Johnson & Gibb, is a right-wing lobbyist paid mega-bucks by US tech & media giants who not only donate millions to Trump but are also invested in expanding "the emerging pro-Trump media empire"👇 @BylineTimes
The elite are the 1% - so they can't win in a democracy. In order to win they need to convince half of the remaining 99% to vote for them. To do this, they first buy up the press. Then they demonise minority groups and create a made up crisis to convince you that the minority…
The BBC isn't perfect, but it belongs to Britain not Trump. Political leaders across the UK must unite in defending its independence from the White House.
Do you accept the overwhelming science that CO2 emissions from fossil fuels are increasing & causing temperatures to rise? If yes, what alternative policies do you propose to address that? If no, what scientific evidence do you have that 20,000 climate scientists are wrong?
The British press made this guy. If not for them, he’d still be addressing Rotary Clubs.
It's important to recognise that @SkyNews do not have to do this. They are choosing to do this.
It is now clear: even with votes still to be counted, Moldova has chosen Europe. @sandumaiamd and PAS are heading to a decisive majority. A victory for the European spirit in Eastern Europe and a hard lesson for Putin. Free citizens choose democracy, free citizens choose Europe.
This story talks about Starmer being most animated when talking about Farage as threat to Labour … nope I think he was genuinely pointing to Farages fake promises and danger to UK from that …and wasn’t the entirety of his speech .. headlines matter BBC bbc.com/news/articles/…
As someone who lives and works in London, including in areas of very high deprivation, I can assure you there is no “Sharia Law” being implemented here. The Geriatric Orange Game Show Host is simply having another senior moment and is best ignored.
Great listen about where we are today - long but well worth it. Settle in over the first 30 minutes and then enjoy a well researched take on neoliberalism, social media, intolerance, social mobility and more. Go beyond sound bite wars: have a long listen. podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/the…
Britons clearly do support the recognition of a Palestinian state when you ask it in a normal way.

We will be doing an emergency podcast 415pm on the catastrophic events in Qatar. We really are now living in a world where so called strongman leaders think they can do what they want where they want with impunity. Hard to see how this does anything but make things worse. Link to…
