100% this. We named the team "UI Platform Team", and the team is responsible not just for @BaseWebReact, but all the front end tooling, like an internal platform for visual regression testing or end-to-end testing.

We've just made our Figma documentation easier to consume via a new website: base.uber.com
Short update: Today I've focused on connecting the design system, the forms and the db 🔌 I wish I would go faster, but I feel like the foundation will help me pick up velocity tomorrow 🚀
From a technical perspective, Uber's Base Web is probably one of the most underrated design systems out there today. Their docs are on point and they have more mature solutions to problems like layering, theming, grid, and how to use tokens
Unpopular opinion: @fbjest should only support inline snapshots. Support for external files encourages huge snapshots that nobody will ever code review. Enforced inlining of snapshots is a forcing function for preventing abuse
A colleague on @uber's BaseWeb team just told me that the rich-data-table component I spent a bunch of time working on last year is the the single most-used #dataviz design system component at Uber, especially the @UberFreight team. It's open source! baseweb.design/components/uns…
@BaseWebReact probably has one of the best docs for a frontend framework imo Easy to navigate, clean and lucid explanations.
👏
👩💻 Just started working on a side project called Bullet Journal to practice Baseweb I've finished setting up then I've tried to create this login form (only front end tho hehe) today. For the next task, I'm gonna try to create my own theme in Baseweb 😁.

The team's been doing an amazing job on @BaseWebReact - check out the docs at https://baseweb.desgin
