I’m annoyed that the Gakpo assist will probably earn him 5 more consecutive starts bc he’s been tough to watch most of this game.
Thank god Wirtz’s interplay kept this team chugging along first half bc they’re looked really void of creativity you need someone to lift a team up when everyone is so down.
West Ham’s been there for the taking & you can literally feel the goal the other way, the Konate substitution for an attacker & tossing the kitchen sink coming.
Infuriating watching this lineup have the most predictable balance issues ever. Gakpo, Kerkez & Isak should not be on the pitch & we’re at 54 minutes.
It’s genuinely sad how much anguish even the littlest actions are causing me in this game. They look completely lifeless in the details & could still be winning this game.
Grav & Mac losing possession in the middle there isn’t only avoidable, but those routine moments of last season simply did not happen as frequently. Conceded a corner bc of it, and it was needless.
I still think, despite Kerkez not doing too much wrong today, you need to play Robertson as much as possible to at least make van Dijk feel more comfortable.
Wirtz is so talented but at some point he really needs to step on the gas & take some of these games by the scruff of the neck. He’s too timid in the 18.
It’s sad watching what Leicester’s becoming.

Every week it feels like we gain more & more evidence that unless Chelsea’s ready to be consistent, Arsenal will win the league.
Am I crazy for thinking that Gerrard should be in a caretaker role & see how it goes? Manager market is skint, but I do think Slot has to go. Seems like a very logical move to return a feel good feeling at the club again. We’re desperate for a psychological rehabilitation.
