The Raspberry Pi software stack is maturing. Raspbian will continue to exist but with the addition of a 64bit kernel (most welcome news!) a new OS naming convention is needed.

On Cluster Blade, each node has a BMC, essentially a "tiny BitScope" that monitors current, voltage and temperature. It controls the cooling fan, manages node power and communicates via an extensible RS485 control bus to implement the control plane. docs.bitscope.com/CKUYTB6U/CB04B…
