Trump is a pretty good moral barometer. If he approves something it virtually always sits on the spectrum between bad idea to abhorrently evil.
I have a nasty feeling future generations will study the post Obama years of US history in a similar way to the Weimar Republic.
Trump and Vance are heroes in their own story and the villains in everyone else's.
Looking at the US at the moment is like looking at a house painted with gasoline and filled with lit candles and wondering how it isn't a blazing inferno yet.
The international community will probably pretty much give Trump a slap on the wrist for his outrageous conduct and we will take a step closer to this becoming normalised and acceptable.
Zelensky showed himself to be the better statesman by being diplomatic, professional and restraining himself from the urge to sock Trump and Vance.
