Congratulations to Dr. Jen Kowalski on her NIH grant - "Investigation of the G protein-coupled receptor FSHR-1 in multi-tissue neuromuscular signaling in normal and oxidative stress condition"! The $ will hire students, go to meetings, and work with @UMassAmherst! #science

Today was the day of our annual giant paper airplane launch from the top of the parking garage. Summer researchers from @ButlerBiology joined us and a great deal of fun ensued. One of the planes even landed on Lake Road! @butleru

I'm losing lab members left & right! High School research assistant @k_atiealex made very interesting genetic discoveries related to translocon QC! Katie will attend @ButlerBiology @butleru this fall, where I'm sure she'll continue to excel in her courses & the lab! @PrinDHS
After months of waiting, we have the @NSF supported confocal microscope has been installed in Gallahue! Faculty members and students from @ButlerBiology and @BU_chemistry are so excited to be able to start using it this summer. #BUSciencesComplex
