The most dangerous type of emotional decision making in investing is when your reasoning is entirely driven by some upstream bias that you are oblivious to This is *super* dangerous bc conclusions will seem very well thought out. You won't ever think it's built on hollow grounds

What was your biggest learning this year? For me it’s the even bigger focus on management/cap.allocation. Eg some months ago I would have bought $ISC.TO at todays price cause it’s a cheap monopoly. But they love to do m&a at higher multiples than their own plus high debt=pass
