#OnThisDay in 1995 the Disability Discrimination Act became law in the UK. For the first time, disabled people were protected at work and in getting goods and services. The Act went on to become part the Equality Act 2010 in England, Scotland and Wales

Great campaign to raise awareness of stammering and changing the narrative about how we talk about it. #ISAD2020 is on 22 October.

Today we launched a global campaign to change the way we talk about #stammering. Watch @Scroobiuspipyo talk about the campaign in our video. Please share, retweet, like and help us spread the word! #FindTheRightWords #ISAD2020

We hope that all networks marking #WorldCancerDay and #TimeToTalk this week have good events, people are supported and key messages are given, heard and acted on! @CSDisability

Today is #WorldMentalHealthDay2019 why not check in on your friends and colleagues?

Sometimes we say we're fine when we're not. But if your friend's acting differently, they might be experiencing a mental health problem. Today is #WorldMentalHealthDay: check in with your friends - and then, check again.

A belated THANK YOU shout out to @defra & @Ruralpay for being our host for last weeks CSDN quarterly meeting- we are reliant on people providing us with a room, so thank you 😊
