Excited to have been at Horizon High School this morning for our first non-evaluative focus walk! 🚶♀️✨ Saw great things happening in science, from Biology talks on food webs 🕸️ to Physics students measuring object displacement! 📏 @CSO_OCPS
All 2nd yr #OCPS assistant principals joined Focus Walks today—non-evaluative, problem-of-practice learning led by the Chief Schools Office Leadership Development team. Together we dug into theory of action planning & a research-based framework to strengthen leadership capacity.
Today our PFPA candidates engaged in Instructional Leadership in Practice walks at Luminary MS. Principal Aldrige helped participants connect how to use classroom observation data to provide teachers with specific,timely, and actionable feedback. Bonus treat from LIA students.
Calibrated today as a team at Waterford Elementary, Conway Middle, and Lake George Elementary — focused on non-evaluative feedback & reflective questioning. Grateful to school leaders who opened their classrooms so we can strengthen our practice together. 🌟
