We are relaunching this page as the official account for Connecticut's Office of Climate Planning. Here you will find information about the agency’s activities pertaining to mitigating future climate change and projected impacts.
Many IRA funds and rebate programs are just rolling out, and DEEP Staff are hard at work applying for funds, rebates, and other opportunities that will have a big impact on Connecticut’s future! We look forward to sharing more as we receive information about funding awards.
These funds will help reduce energy costs for residents and improve equity in tree cover for our cities, critically important as we experience more hot days due to climate change.
So far, DEEP is pursuing nearly $400 million in IRA funding for the State of Connecticut, to provide home energy rebates for efficiency and electrification, access to affordable clean energy, and funding to support Connecticut’s urban forests.
