Today is the 1st Monday of the financial year and Call Torfaen are already inundated with calls. It is likely to remain this way for the remainder of the week. Waiting times will be very long. If you have a question, please feel free to email us at [email protected]


We are currently experiencing issues with the online forms on our website. The mobile app is working and we are trying to resolve the matter as quickly as possible. If you are experiencing issues, please try later this morning.


Call Torfaen are receiving an extremely high volume of calls. Waiting times are very long. If you're waiting in a queue or trying to contact us, you can either PM us here or drop an email to [email protected] Thank you for your patience.


We are aware of an ongoing issue with the street lights in/through Pontypool Park. They were fixed last week but they have since gone out again. Our engineers are working on them at the moment to try and resolve the matter.


We are currently unable to take any payments over the telephone. Payments can be made online via our website: torfaen.gov.uk We hope to have the telephone payment system working again shortly.


Our payment system is being upgraded this morning, which means it will unavailable between 10:00am and approx. 1:00pm. We will be unable to take any payments during this time.


*Online form update** Thank you for your patience. Our online forms are back up and running. We are still investigating the fault, so when you click on the form link, it will display a log in page. You can bypass this by clicking on Submit Report Anonymously.


We are currently experiencing issues with our online system which is affecting the platform for things such as booking a visit to the HWRC, applying for Winter Fuel Payment, reporting flytipping / missed collections etc. We hope to have it up and running shortly.


We are currently experiencing an issue with our computer system which is also affecting all of our online forms. They system should be back up and running by 11:00am.
