NYPD corruption and waste is so omnipresent in this city that tourists on guided tours stop outside precincts to look at it in shock. This block is littered with NYPD vehicles still covered in snow bc they serve no purpose other than being illegally parked on the sidewalk.
Snow is such a great indicator of wasteful spending. It stopped snowing at 8am, yet outside every single precinct there are multiple illegally parked NYPD vehicles that never get used and could have paid for libraries instead.
