When #debugging in a deep call hierarchy, as you descend the hierarchy and examine each call, write a story. Read it back as you consider solutions. This approach just helped me, like clockwork, to fix an exception thrown deep within a call stack.
After using @googlemaps today, I realized the world really is round! And this whole time I've been suspecting it was propped up on turtles' backs, with fire breathing dragons waiting to eat me if I fell off the edge.

Pitch competitions / business plan competitions / etc are fantasy roleplaying minus most of the things that make fantasy roleplaying educational and enjoyable. It is unlikely they are a productive use of time versus asking an actual prospect to buy an actual thing.
