Growing confidence on the EPS for 4 or more inches of snow with this system on Saturday. My current take is widespread 3-6 inches with localized 8 inches across northern Illinois. Snow begins around dawn on Saturday and ends around dawn on Sunday. #ilwx

For my senior project, I've been making a model that forecasts the short-term probability of Convective Initiation. It's not available to the public yet, but I plan on open-sourcing it and making a real-time product using this model sometime in the near future.
