Thrilled to have two pieces of flash fiction published with @nationalflashfd One recounts how a lost thermometer leads to unemployment. In the other we follow a daughter and mother separated by different contents on Christmas: dlvr.it/TLRXw1 & dlvr.it/TLRv4C

What a great National Flash Fiction Day. Responding to the writing prompts from The Write-In forced me out of my comfort zone and freed up my mind. I didn’t have to toil over a theme, I just had fun flitting into fleeting worlds.

Tonight, I watched a screening of Prima Facie at the cinema: a captivating one-person play that boasted some exceptional writing and pacing. Peppered with comedic reprieve, Jodie Comer’s performance was equally haunting and raw. So glad I got to see this!

you should get a certain number of “reading days” per year along with your allotted sick days, so that you can phone your boss and say “I can’t come in to work today, I’m reading in bed” and then you spend the day reading in bed
Had such an uplifting and serene time in North Yorkshire. Exhibited a piece of artwork at Badger in the Wall gallery, saw a barn owl in flight, a heron in a stream and speckled hens resting with sheep.
Looking forward to this weekend when I will be seeing my art in a gallery for the first time and gazing over all the other lovely pieces selected for the exhibition.
