Mempool Archive Findings: 1⃣ We detected the TX in all of our mempools (EU, US, & Asia) ~5 sec. (2 blocks) before it was confirmed 2⃣ All of our regions saw the tx within ~1.5 sec. of each other - typical of propagation latency Source data: hubs.ly/H0rmCLS0
One thing that changed (I think) between now & peak 2017 when I first thought of this is that @blocknative has been building crazy infra that captures txpools. This didn't exist in 2017 and if we had set it up then, it likely would only catch malicious txs thru our own node(s).
