The NBA's continual denials of its actual birth is bizarre. This isn't some wacky, alternate history theory. It's based on actual historical facts and the NBA's original description of a merger between two leagues to form the NBA.

5 years ago today I was nominated for a New England #Emmy for sports reporting on the NESN network for my work with the Boston Red Sox. I didn't win, but not too bad for a 9-year-old ⚾️🧢🤣. If that wasn't cool enough, a commercial that I acted in was also nominated that year!
