Grateful to have had the opportunity to sit down with @ReporterDawn and talk about faith & sexuality and how they intersect!

Faithfully LGBTQ: a local youth discipleship leader shared his story of how coming to terms with his sexuality brought him closer to God and how he’s using his experiences to help others find a place in a community of faith. The second in a two-part series by @ReporterDawn

Three members of the Thousand Oaks Council are in the pocket of Shawn Moradian and developers. I said what said.

There is so much that could be said about last night's city council meeting, but one question I'm left with is: Does Al care about anything else other than the Blvd? Anything? You'd think that's the only issue facing our city by the way he talks about it.

👀👀👀

At tonight's City Council meeting, the council has voted 4-0 (with Bob Engler absent) to move to district voting, with five districts.

👀

Finally getting a chance to look at next week's City Council agenda... Thousand Oaks is having to consider moving from at-large Council elections to district-based elections. The council will only hear a presentation regarding the issue on Tuesday. 1/

Sad new today from Amgen. The biotech giant today laid off 450 employees. I don't know yet how many of those positions, if any, were in Thousand Oaks.

I certainly would 😍

They auctioned off a brunch with firefighters to raise money for charity. As a firefighter’s kid, I think it’s hilarious people would pay money for that. Growing up, that was just a regular Saturday. Or Thanksgiving. Or Christmas.

Received this statement today from Zach Zernik’s mother, Elizabeth: “The Zernik family would like to thank the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department and Search and Rescue team and volunteers, and all the community for their outpouring of support during this difficult time.”

Our club conducted a robust assessment process before membership voted to endorse. 2years prior, we passed on endorsement of candidate who lacked sufficient support. We’re proud of our process.

I love all of the "I'm getting out of the way for the next generation" positioning from incumbents who tried to hold onto positions of power in the last election. You were MOVED out of the way by the voters. I tried to tell you. @TOAcornNews #ThousandOaks.

Voters were so misled. 😔

Given today’s vote update, and with fewer than 900 ballots left to count in the 2nd District, the outcome of this race is no longer uncertain. I am deeply honored to be elected to the VC Board of Supervisors, 2nd District. My full statement: m.facebook.com/story.php?stor…
