Today in #highfieldsmaths we were using our place value grids to create numbers up to and within 1 million! Ask the children how to read a 7 digit number and they will tell you how to do it!
Last week was poetry week and each class read Somebody Crunched Colin by Sarah Roberts. We loved sharing the story and completed a number of exciting activities throughout the week.
What a fantastic start to the year we are having in Class 5. The children have returned to school ready and raring to learn and this is wonderful to see. Well done Class 5!
