Today we remember Renate Kurzmann on the 2nd anniversary of her sudden passing. The world lost a wonderful teacher that day and here at UCD Classical Museum and School of Classics we lost a much loved friend and former colleague. Gone but never forgotten!

Exciting News!!! Habemus Ovum! A year on from introducing the world to Horus, the UCD Classical Museum's favourite squatter, we can now reveal Horus is about to become a Mummy! The gorgeous chick on the Sistine Chapel roof will soon have some competion for the limelight!
Delighted to introduce the latest addition to Newman Building @UCD...😍his name is Horus and he only hatched a few days ago . Already he bears a strong resemblance to his namesake who is pictured here in a Ramesside limestone stela (13th c BC) on display in #UCDClassicalMuseum

Fabulous concert of newly composed Electronic Music performed within UC Classical Museum amidst the artefacts that inspired the compositions! A simply stunning event which will be remembered by all who were there!!! Congratulations to all the composers on their amazing work!
UCD Classical Museum is reverberating to some fantastic sounds as preparations are in full swing for tonight's premier concert featuring new works by Cian Dunne, Emmi Radke, Victoria Sinkorova, Xinyi Chen and Calum Quinn! The Iron Age Cypriot tambourine players-LOVING IT!
Very excited to announce UCD Classical Museum will host a Concert of Premieres on 30 April @ 6pm!!! Newly composed electronic works by talented group of up and coming musicians will be performed for the very first time!!! The atmosphere is sure to be electric!!!
Alas Zsuzsanna Ardo's Spinaria exhibition has come to a close and will be travelling off to delight art lovers at its next destination. It was wonderful to host this exciting exhibtion in UCD Classical Museum!
