What do the members of your drum corps do to keep their instruments in good working order?
A bent mouthpiece shank can inhibit air flow. If yours is, repairmen and most band directors can fix it with this!
A far as covers, wraps, etc. where do you find the balance between protecting your instrument from wear and affecting the sound?
If you bend the leadpipe on your mellophone, don't hit it on the stairs of the equipment truck to bend it back. Doesn't work so well... @DCI
