Having watched a lot of the u14 club champs and also some other recent high level comps, I don’t like the trend of huddling during the first free throw and then coming back in for second one. Game has enough delays, enough time while ref making a call to huddle up.
The grading season will be upon us soon @TalkingSplit, any drills and links to good press break options for a bottom age u14 boys team? I was just going to teach have someone always flash to side, middle, back and focus on making quick pass and using fakes to drag D certain way?
Relistening to @TalkingSplit and the Doc/co-ord ep stood out, made me realize our vjbl club lacked this, as a parent only this season to a first time rep athlete, never once saw the co-ord at a training or a game. now see why you don’t pay your nbl1 coach to be DoC as well.

Just rewatched the u14 GF at the national junior classic from long weekend. Casey is a great team, but I would question use of zone was being monitored. As their tall athletic big spent a lot of time guarding the ring with no real care for a m2m match up.

After a weekend of 20 games of u12 bball at edjbt I think @BasketballAus @Basketball_Vic need to #banthepress. as bad as a zone, kids are learning where to stand in a press not how to defend 1:1 and kids aren't strong enough to pass through it. not developing kids #talkingsplit
Maybe @callofduty @RavenSoftware could spend less time on making 40,00 gun attachments everyone has to level up and instead fix some core glitches and bugs in the game. Watched @timthetatman @DrDisrespect stream and some ridiculous glitches and bugs that aren’t fixed in weeks.

Watching this World Cup squad, has got me even more on the @CoachNCB bandwagon of shooting is the key skill. This current generation of guards are all reluctant shooters and it showed. We need to find more young shooters.
