Many athletes who try track find out they are good at it. Opportunities/scholarships are available for them instead of a sport they have played since they were young. I have stories that prove this. Parents/Coaches encourage athletes to run track. Do not be shocked they like it.
Most athlete's primary sport isn't track. Okay. Your job is to make them wish it was.
