There's something strangely sad about finishing a book with a happy ending. It's great to see all the characters come out of it well, but it also feels a little like you've become friends with these people, and now you'll never see them again.
My only rules for writing in the #Lovecraft Mythos are: 1. Keep the horror vague and incomprehensible. 2. Make the characters people H.P. Lovecraft himself would have hated. #amwriting #horror

My Star Wars hot take is that the original trilogy was great, and the prequels were salvageable, because they allowed space between major events for mythology to build up. The sequel trilogy was too rushed, which is why it's being forgotten so quickly.
