Get Inspired. Do the work. Be great. Thanks #Kobe "now you do that and as the years go on the separation that you have with your competitors grows larger and larger"

"You wake up at 3, train at 4. 4-6. Come home, eat breakfast, relax. Now you're back at it again 9-11. Relax ... Back at it again, 2-4. Now you're back at it again, 7-9. By year 5 & 6, it doesn't matter what kind of work they do in the summer - they're never gonna catch up."

Notes on hedging: 1) Nothing is certain--not even FDIC insurance--so check your assumptions thoroughly 2.) Make sure your hedge is as deterministic as possible e.g. option contracts with little counterparty risk. 3.) Cybersecurity risk when dealing with something like bitcoin

There's not a high enough thinking-to-reading ratio. The drive to read more books is wonderful, but not to where time spent pondering their pages feels less productive. "Reading furnishes the mind only with materials of knowledge; it is thinking that makes it ours." -John Locke

For new traders: it's important to remember trading is hard, and it takes years of hard work and sacrifice to learn. It's a slow, long-term way to make money. Anyone promising anything different probably isnt being honest with you & likely has their own interests in mind.

Having risk management determines if you will be profitable. Being gifted at charts, order flow, momentum, trends... determine how quickly and efficiently you will grow your account. Noone wants to talk about risk managment bc it's not flashy to sell a service. But it's #1.

If it isn't empirical it's a narrative MINIMIZING the use of narratives helps P/L statements

Not to poo poo Napoleon, but I think modern strategists would find that estimate a bit too low for practical use

It just feels like it should 😂

We need to build a coalition to lobby on behalf of correcting our Ferrari shortage. It's what's best for the country!

I used to as well, but it seems to depend heavily on the specifics of the trip. There's huge variation in the price paid for a seat in 1st
