Unless copywriters, marketers, and branding strategists start to think from their audience’s POV they won’t be able to get the "high" conversions, ROAS, and LTV they’re putting in all the hours for. copyinsights.medium.com/how-to-get-you…

How to Get Your Customers to Do What You Want

I love a good meme.

To sell high-ticket items successfully you need to nurture your email list with a lot of love and consistency. The email strategy that works for a $15 product will not work for something that costs $1500. Credibility plays a much bigger role here than most brands expect.

I always try to give anything I write some room to breathe before I go in for a final edit. The breathing room lasts a few hours, and the results are always great. Yes, I treat copy as a living thing—sometimes it's Mary's cute little lamb, sometimes it's the Kraken. 🐙

Copywriting 101: It takes more time to write fewer words. Being succinct is not for the faint-hearted. #copywriting

Email copywriting 101: Create all emails in a sequence at the same time. No matter how much your eyes water—email consistency depends on it.

My LinkedIn profile is such a neglected disaster—I'm "literally" embarrassed by it. It's a deserted town with just a sign and no life—like paper towns that only exist on maps. I'm giving myself the month of March to populate it. Let's see if this ultimatum works.

Using the same phrase repeatedly in copy doesn't solidify its impact. It just makes you sound like a broken record.

Landing page copy is all about visualization. Write words that get visitors to conjure up mental images of them using the product—alleviating their pain, improving their lives, and enhancing their everyday experiences. Then follow through with addressing common sales objections🤌

Don't start writing landing page copy without finding a good angle first. Then use that angle to frame the product features, user benefits, and everything else on the page.

No one is more productive than a procrastinating writer under a real deadline

Is 2022 over already? I still feel like it's 2020. Here's a recap of what I did last year - Crafted messaging & copy for 30+ clients - Got the spicy flu again(this time in Germany) - Watched my son enjoy 1st grade - Watched TV with the husband Might sound less, but it was a lot

Quick Email Tip To boost your open rates... Write your subject lines in sentence case not title case. For example don't write: • This Weird Coffee Melts Fat Write: • This weird coffee melts fat It comes off as less formal and less obviously a marketing email.

If your product has a NEED, write copy that transforms it into a WANT. Want is what differentiates you from the competition.

Is @Grammarly acting funky for anyone else?

Whenever I consciously try to be productive, the result is always the opposite. I jump through tabs and tasks like a hungry monkey who can see the banana and is trying to get to it but is constantly failing. Send help.

Most marketing newsletters are just sh*tty blog posts with less screen space + more embeds to click … that’s what makes the good ones such rocket ships
