For a QuickCommerce MVP, is it smart to go for real-time delivery location tracking right from the start? Feels like it could spike Google Maps API usage & cost fast :) #BuildInPublic #Ecommerce #MVP #webdev

Day 26/27 of building Quickcommerce app Juggling cross-platform chaos for 2 days. Gradle not loading main kit, sockets breaking (localhost backend + ngrok), missing files for Noti perms & map keys Sometimes You don’t code Flutter, you code hope :) Btw it's all synchronised…

Day 26 of building the QuickCommerce app Wrapped up delivery module today! - Separate delivery boy auth - Multi-order assign, accept/reject flow - Full socket-powered sync + real-time notifications to admin & users Next: Delivery Boy App :) #BuildInPublic #Ecommerce #Webdev

Working on the delivery module today! Although it’s beyond the original MVP scope, still got 5 days left, so thinking of pushing boundaries - Live delivery tracking - Real-time notifications for delivery boy to accept/reject orders - Seamless coordination between admin,…

Been facing difficulty over designing a Location based inventory system for the QuickCommerce app Not in the current MVP scope, but what if we scale to multi-location stores in the future? :) Anyone here who’s implemented or designed something similar? Would love some…

Day 23/24 of building the QuickCommerce app Implemented Promo Code flow, shifted from Firebase to GCP Maps API for better control, and configured Sockets + Notification Utils Next up: aiming for real-time delivery tracking, not in scope, but if time allows after refinements…

Have been using Riverpod along with Bootstrap provider & Dio interceptor for caching for my quickcommerce app Any suggestions on how to prefetch and map the 8/15 entities before the user onboards the home screen? #buildinpublic #flutter #UserExperience

Day 22 of building the QuickCommerce app Integrated Google Maps API, set up default & automatic address selection, and refined the cart screen for a smoother checkout flow Next up: Promocode & order flow in the user app #BuildInPublic #Flutter #QuickCommerce #AppDev

Day 21 of building the QuickCommerce app Refactored the category & added the product & wishlist screen today Also implemented a bootstrap provider to prefetch all entities for faster app load! PS: Does anyone know how to mimic Next.js getServerSideProps/staticProps in Flutter?…

Was using GoRouter for navigation and noticed the app would just exit when pressing back anywhere except the home screen Added a MainShell that now shows a snackbar asking to “press back again to exit.” Small UX tweak, but should save users some frustration :) #buildinpublic
