If your daughter plays AAU and coach plays zone the entire tourney, save yourself a lot of money and join a Rec team. If your coach plays man against teams that play zone the entire tourney, your playing at the wrong level, find another team. #basketball
Recruiters look at high school games to see who can execute set plays, learn a system, be a roll player, contribute of the bench etc. Recruiters look at AAU to see skills, athleticism, decision making, endurance, toughness etc. AAU coaches should not be running many set plays

Welcoming a player that transferred from a nationally ranked to unranked team is one thing, but congratulating them? That's odd!
BB officials that claim teams switching sides at the 1/2 is equivalent to them rotating consistently throughout game are being intellectually lazy.
If two players are equally good on offense but one dont get back on D, guess which one be hitten the portal with nudge from coach
Problem with overhyping players is that some start to believe it & think they arent gettin the playin time they believe they deserve when they get to college when in reality they arent as good as they think they are and dont work on their weaknesses like gettin ur ass back on D
What they tell you: Only 1% of girl HS BB players go D1. What they dont tell you: 55% of female HS players dont want to play BB in college, 25% dont have the grades and 10% aren’t prepared for the commitment of D1 & back out. That leaves 10% you are competing against for a spot
Note: What Hypeman hypes about a player publicly isnt always what the hypman is saying privately to college coaches. Hypemen are always focused on their own credibility first and foremost

College v HS Coach: College Coach develops system & then recruit players suited to it. HS Coach must be dynamic, evaluate available players & then create system. Good HS coaches understand this, bad coach will force players into an existing system that may not be suited to them
