Pure Java Database Access. No Object/Relational Impedance. easier, smarter, faster.
Just quietly, DBvolution7 has sneaked past 1000 tests per database.
Just released DBvolution7 0.9.13 with improvements to clustering. More asynch for the win!

I want to see GitHub add functionality to also become an "app store" for OSS, so projects can, if they want, transition to a new license charging $ for commercial (ie for-profit) use Companies tell GitHub how many devs they have & what apps they use. GH sends them a monthly bill
Company: "We'd like to use SQL Server Enterprise" MS: "That'll be a quarter million dollars + $20K/month" Company: "Ok!" ... Company: "We'd like to use Babel" Babel: "Ok! npm i babel --save" Company: "Cool" Babel: "Would you like to help contribute financially?" Company: "lol no"
I cringe when I see Connection objects passed around... That is what DataSources are for

Congrats @realDonaldTrump you are winning. You win the title for least popular in 70 years. That's something!

The RxJava 1.x line is now in feature freeze; no new operators/overloads will be accepted but only bugfix/documentation PRs. (contd.)
It's not that I object to the free labour I do. I mostly enjoy it. It's that people see free labour and demand more.
At this point I basically react to every article about the problems with free software with "Are you going to pay us to do that then?"

Not in any sort of maliciously entertaining way, I'm just going to click whatever boxes get me out of here fastest.
Note: If your website gets super needy when I try to cancel my account and demands to know why, I'll probably just lie to you.
Unfortunately if you're a driver you're selfish, distracted, and in control of a lethal weapon.
A security practice that you think about whether to apply is a security practice that you will forget to apply when it's important.
I mean don't get me wrong, killing patent trolls is absolutely a good thing, but the bigger problem is the system that enables them.
