Excluded from OR DP: those who didn't apply for July bar exam due to health concerns; those who experienced financial troubles and could not apply; and those who applied in other UBE jurisdictions for increased certainty. This needs to change!
Results are out for the October exam here in Oregon. 68% overall pass rate, 82% for first-time applicants. Much higher than expected given the content of the exam. Congrats to those who passed! To those who didn't, hang in there. We're still working on DP for Feb '21.
FYI - OSB mailed October bar exam results on Tuesday 11/24. Should be hitting your mailboxes soon! Results will be published on 12/7.

Update from OSB: ExamSoft 2.4.6 will close the apple cut/paste loophole. Also, apparently version 2.4.6 has been tested on 15,000 examinees "without issue"? Seems highly unlikely given the frequency of issues discussed in the report from @dp4ny. #diplomaprivilege #lawtwitter
Just took practice exam #2. That MPT is rough. Couldn't have the library doc open at a readable size and view the whole answer box at the same time. Situations like this are why I have dual monitors in my office. Doing it on a 15" laptop screen is absurd. #BarExam #lawtwitter

In an interesting twist, conditions here in OR are too unsafe for COVID-19 testing. Tell me again why #diplomaprivilege was appropriate for July applicants but not for October applicants?
The COVID-19 testing site operated by OHSU at Hillsboro Stadium will remain closed through Thursday, September 17. A decision for Friday will be made pending air quality.
