Main reason I'm on Twitter: sharing what I'm doing to build a new SaaS product in the SEO niche, from scratch, @ZeusOutreach. Yet, in another life, I created a niche website, and exited it for a large multiple. Which gave me the idea for the tool. feinternational.com/blog/case-stud…

ChatGPT-4o is insane. It wrote a full (realistic) business development plan in just seconds. And the speed of replies is almost instant now. 🤯 mind-blown.

Now that's going to get interesting. And in all honesty, this is needed...many Google searches are now unusable. Take any review keyword as an example. Filled with big media sites talking about products they haven't reviewed. Recently I was in the market for an electric…

Making content doesn’t work for most people because they: 1) Talk about shit they haven’t done 2) Don’t provide value (even tho they think they do) 3) Dont know how to manage a team to hit volume 4) Dont use the platforms they post on & look tone deaf 5) Quit 4 wks in The end.

Here's 8 dofollow links any new SaaS can get, for free or for very little money. Including one DR 80 and many high-traffic directories. This is just the beginning of getting all these in a nice spreadsheet. I'll be pursuing each of them for my SaaS usesherlock.app.…

For my app usesherlock.app, I'm building a spreadsheet with all the low hanging dofollow links one can get for cheap or no money, such as the one below for IndieHacker. Stay tuned for the list revealed soon!

Yes, & confirmed that you get access to unlimited dofollow links on a DR 80 site. For $25/year, it's a steal.

Is anyone here paying for the Indie Hackers premium profile?

Here's the results after running Meta Ads for 3 days. Not a paying customer, but a cost per landing page view of 3.5 euros. Sounds crazy expensive. Learned: - I had one video ad, which had the best CTR (that's Ad 1). - The most flashy color ad had the lower CTR (Ad 2).

After analyzing best ways to get customers for Sherlock App, I have pined down 2 methods -> Cold emails -> paid ads (launching later today) Will be reporting on what works & what doesn’t.

Most of the "I'll show you how to start a SaaS" gurus on here show you on how to build a SaaS. That's the easy part. Very few show you how to actually get paying customers, the hard part.

I started a new project (usesherlock.app), an email finding tool that combines them all. It has 0 users. I bought @nico_jeannen's course and will be implementing it to get my first users. First ads schedule to launch tonight...;)

Chrome, given the easy of use and the familiarity, difficult to beat. And also the devtools have pretty much every feature a dev would need (including the ability to specify request overrides, so you no longer need a backend to do frontend work, which is a game changer)

As I was figuring out how to do cold emailing for my last SaaS, I realized there’s A LOT of email finding tools. Why didn’t anyone think about combining them all into 1 ?

This is what chatbots should have been in the first place! And add in vision for physical products (like trying out clothes using your smartphone’s camera), and no need to ever set foot in a store.

That’s why I don’t think these AI bulk writing tools will have any impact on long-term SEO. If it was just about going to KoalaWriter, inputting your keyword and publishing the output to rank: EVERYONE WOULD RANK. Let me tell you this won’t be the case.

AI-generated content without proper fine-tuning will output exactly what chatGPT is: a useful, generic model but with no character. Secret is to feed data to the AI (about the content and about who’s writing it), so it becomes entirely an extension of the writer.

Just tried cold emailing someone, and immediately received an automated email, asking me to donate money to be able to reach their inbox. WTF? 😅
