Two ways to control the paddle. Classic (left), like Arkanoid, where the position on the paddle is the deflection angle and Tilting (right), where it deflects naturally but you can tilt for control. What works best? #gamedev #indiegamedev

Random gamedev peeve: Mix_FadeOutChannel doesn't halt your sound channel if it's already paused or has volume set to 0. It also crashes in Emscripten. So... Maybe they're trying to say: don't use this; just fade out by setting your volume on a timer in your gameloop. #gamedev
