We are absolutely committed to spending money on advisors to come up with ideas that schools absolutely don't have to do!

We had a proper laugh making this, if you believe her I've a bridge to sell you

Every time Labour get power, your children's education suffers. The @Conservatives are sticking to the plan which is delivering high and rising school standards.

What a year it has been for us all! We are currently working how we can make the below bigger than ever before

Just to be clear. The consultations over minimum service levels is a sham. You know it, we know it, but we will continue to pretend it isn't.

I'm afraid it looks like we are stuck with this one.

Whilst I’m very sad to see @NickGibbUK step down as Schools Minister, I wish him the best of luck with his plans to join the diplomatic service. Nick has worked with school leaders and teachers to transform millions of children’s lives for the better. Thank you, Nick.

She's doing a fucking good job why is no one telling her?

In government you need to take tough long-term decisions in the best interests of the country even if you don’t get the credit. That’s what @RishiSunak & I are doing - delivering a brighter future for our children. My interview in @DailyMailUK 👇 dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1…

We've sent our budgeting specialists over to @McCoys. We have been helping them with their four times tables

Come on @NickFerrariLBC she's doing a f*cking good job, I think you need to tell her that.

‘It's the same old Tories, isn't it? The same old sleaze…’ Is the Tory sleaze crisis escalating? @NickFerrariLBC questions the Education Secretary following the arrest of MP Crispin Blunt on suspicion of rape.

If you insist on having your own opinions then we are going to distrust you. @vicgoddard this is going in your secret file

The rhetoric from the DfE is complete distrust of edu professionals. The message is we are somehow teaching subversive/dangerous content. Another drive for compulsory use of Oak? Some content, especially in core subjects, is purchased so we are allowed to break copyright?

This shows a complete lack of understanding of what we do here. A teacher would not have the relative experience to organise an office refit, funnel public money to trusts during academisation, secretly monitor teachers & remove the ability to strike. This is going in your file

Give us an education secretary that’s actually been a teacher in a state school relatively recently. An actual teacher that possibly went on to be a headteacher. Someone with a teaching degree. That’s a good basic starting point. Someone who has walked the walk.

Every time teachers see our supreme leader in the papers they think "oh god what now ?" I can assure you so do we, we've no idea what she's going to come out next with either. theguardian.com/education/2023…

The teachers are wrong. @secretHT1 This is going in your secret file!

If you ask school staff what the biggest three issues facing education are, you will get three completely different answers than if you ask the DFE or Gillian Keegan what they are. And therein lies the problem.

The government does not need accountability measures, we are always correct, 107% of the time This is going in your secret dossier Steve!

Without these hoops we run the risk of teachers being able to use initiative or pass on experience other than prescribed government doctorine. Under the new strike law we hope to outlaw non-hoop jumping. @NewbieSlt this outburst is going in your secret file

Hi all, Miss Johnson is leaving us after half term to take up a job as a circus acrobat. Apparently, she’s looking forward to having fewer hoops to jump through than the teachers at The Academy applying for UPS. Thanks x

Department For UnEducation reposted

THIS MAKES MY BLOOD BOIL! The Education Secretary has just sneaked out an outrageous video blaming teachers for the disruption in schools which the Govt itself was responsible for & threatening to rob them of their democratic right to strike WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE FROM UK MEDIA!?
