Just found myself on stackoverflow.... kinda felt like i ran into my ex.
it's all fun and games until you want to run aggregate functions in @convex_dev . Love the project, love the direction they're heading but still so many nuances to watch out for
React and Next is no longer written by humans. This is the result of LLMs writing designs when they ran out of context. Shit has gone off the rail
For anyone else running into "application_error" from when working with @resend & @convex_dev - create a new internalAction, put a 'use node' directive inside the handler and then you should be able to run your resend code
The level of detail @tannerlinsley goes into on directives is exactly why his products are so good. You can tell Every single design decision is thoroughly thought out across the whole tan stack ecosystem. It’s the main reason why I love Start so much, it just makes sense
For all the nextjs fanboys looking for an alternative, you’re not going to get much more of qualified review than Mr. Jquery My personal path started w Next in 2017 -> nuxt -> sveltekit -> remix -> Start. Can honestly say its the best DX out there
I've been using @tan_stack Start for a new project and it's super good. The server functions completely replace the need for TRPC/GraphQL/REST, the middleware is composable and fully typed, and having TSRouter's nice typing and stateful search params is icing on the cake. A+!
Have an SEO client that Google will crawl and index their content in 2-4weeks IF they’re lucky. Create one article in the format of “…updated treatment options for 2026”, crawled, ranked, receiving traffic within 12hrs! Creating similar style content today, will report back
I’m just over 1 year into my 20 year dream of being an entrepreneur. The dichotomy between my dreams& the reality of this life is comical. I expected the hard work, but the emotional roller coaster& isolation wasn’t even a blip on my radar. Respect to others on this journey
Mini apps - built, launched, tweeted in under 60 mins. Why? bc I've got 20k hrs of work in side projects on my laptop that have never seen the light of today. Mini app #1 - GBP rank checker. TLDR: it works, but the data isn't what I was hoping apps.highcountrydigital.io/google-busines…
Working with a handful of smb healthcare providers & analytic solutions in this industry kinda such so I'm building my own. Focusing on KPIs that matter to these owners. Long way to go but already helping my clients. Next up: lead -> patient data. (built on @posthog)
Convinced a nearly $1B enterprise company 2 yrs ago to rewrite their entire app in @remix_run v2. I’m not longer with them but I often wonder how much they’re motherfukin me w the recent premix news 😀
Hey so what am I suppose to do when an unknown entity has complete access of my @Meta ads account (as per audit logs), deleting campaigns and support still can’t tell me how they have access after reporting this 2 weeks ago ?!
Hey @clickup , opened up a major security ticket over 8 days ago with no resolution. My clients can see one another’s data. Apparently has been escalated but no update. Shouldn’t security issues be a major concern ?
People rave about RSC, most don’t understand it. Personally I think it’s a great technology but way overhyped and complicated Type safe RPCs and sensible caching (react query) is all you need
