I’ve read about this sign - “BBC: Please Walk In” - but never seen it till now. I think it was Magnet House (1st BBC HQ, late 1922), or may have been Savoy Hill. Or both? The idea was that the Beeb was so desperate for content, any passer-by could pop in to pitch ideas.
