So today at work...well bit of a random one. Got asked to export data for a client from their site, so that they could update it or work out if they needed to, seemed a bit odd as they have a wordpress login they could have used. Did some site updates as well...

Monday, so back to it, spent the weekend doing some life admin, and a bit of time on the water. Today, at work, we launched a site, I tried to answer some support tickets, and updated a flatsome woocommerce site. Wonder what tomorrow will bring?

So did some coding at work today. Also talked to some nice folks at @hostedby20i who where super helpful me with an issue we had on a site as well as a Developer who works the guys running @ComplianzI who helped with the new 7.0 plugin. Quite a good day all in all :-)

...so its not much, but I pulled the updates for my Drupal blog. I always forget how hard that is to do...so many SSH keys...I also wrote this little bit: blog.marksworld.biz/blogs/its-been…

...thats all for tonight though :-)

So tonight, after working all day with Wordpress, I got to play with Drupal again. Beginning to remember why I liked drupal so much. The theme system (twig and twig debug) does make theming a LOT easier in my opinion, instead of searching the ID's of elements. @drupal

...been away for a while, had some other stuff to deal with (cars, birthdays, life). Still working in web dev though :-) More to come!

So...screwed up my blog a bit. Turns out I had set up Drupal correctly with GIT, even had my .gitignore setup. Need to figure out whats going on at hosting level as I have .htaccess issues. A job for another day and time for some sleep! #Drupal #CodeNewbie @freecodecamp

been away for a while...actually went on holiday and got some sunlight...and a cold on the plane home (I feel like thats the norm now when you fly)....been busy at work with server migrations...and did a little bit of drupal stuff on my neglected blog this evening :-)

..been a while since I posted, works been mega busy, lot of tickets, having to fit in site migrations, and patching stuff for vulnerabilities apparently...lots of testing.

so lots of tickets at work, also discovered that apparently its difficult to give wordpress users access to the appearence -> menu's menu without giving them access to the theme editor...who knew?! More of the same in the morning I think....

So my tuesday began with DevOps, and I ended up adding a load of .htaccess passwords to some staging sites, followed on by a few support tickets, and yet more clones of websites to a new host we are moving to :-)

If you had to give anyone getting into Dev a tip what would it be? I would struggle with one but, my first one would be: hard refresh #100DaysOfCode @freeCodeCamp #CodeNewbies #WordPress #Drupal #javascript #php #HTML

What are the options other than using a maintenance plugin or .htaccess password protecting dirs if your running a wordpress site? #WordPress #wordpresswebsite @freeCodeCamp

wow been a few days...well, had a quite a lot going on at work...bit of gravity forms, having to replace a plugin for a custom woocommerce field, more mirgrations, random support tickets, and had to implement a UAC that another Dev wrote in place of the Branda plugin...busy busy

Did a little of a bug squashing at work, added an over lay for a hero post type on a site (made a bit of a mess of my PR though), did some pre-launch checks for a new build (including adding a favicon), got a bit stuck with a woocommerce short code though :-/ always tomorrow :-)

today at work...I upgraded a woocommerce site, completed an email migration for a client and tested some more updates locally...hopefully tomorrow may be a bit more interesting

I know its Sunday, but the last few days have been busy. Spent the Thursday and Friday at work doing some updates for wooCom sites, a couple of basic support tickets, and going through and trying to complete amends on client feedback for a reskin.

Came across a GIT issue over the last few days, one of the complianz plugin updates recently renamed their directory structure moving from caps to lower case, what a problem that causes when your trying to update a repo in windows #CodeNewbie @freeCodeCamp #100DaysOfCode
