It’s morally insane that in Tennessee they can pass laws to ban books, ban conversations about racism and bias in schools, ban drag shows, and even try to ban Black legislators they disagree with… but we can’t pass a ban on militarized guns from terrorizing our communities…

Piper CJ is wild. Was it not enough that your book you wrote in a week blew up and got popular? There is something ugly about someone having all this success from half-ass doing something only to then turn around and harass someone for critiquing something you put out.
I’ve seen the behavior MANY times from MANY authors. There’s always a pattern. This crap has to end. Authors (and their fans) need to stay out of review spaces. Period.
If you don't get why people are upset at Piper CJ's (second round of) harassment of reviewers, there is a history of authors starting here and ending with stalking reviewers to their homes and to their jobs - and even physically assaulting them.
If you are at a rally and someone is approvingly quoting Hitler, and no one is shutting them down, you are at a Nazi rally.
REVIEWS are for READERS, not AUTHORS. I feel there are some newer authors who just come from a different interpretation of the publishing world, and really haven’t figured out that they have no business being up in reviews about their work. STOP HARASSING REVIEWERS.
I’m done with every online fandom from now on; from Star Wars to LOTR to Pokémon to 9-1-1. I thought Heartstopper was the one safe place left, and y’all proved with Kit to be just as awful and toxic. I’ll enjoy these creative endeavors alone, thanks. Y’all suck, sincerely.
