Azeem Rafiq has perfectly identified why complaints about #workplaceracism rarely succeed: People of Colour are often the last to want to admit it’s happening, ‘allies’ fade away, internal complaints procedures aren’t fit for purpose and, eventually, the victim is blamed.

We really need to lose / rethink the term microaggression because there's really nothing 'micro' about what Azeem Rafiq has described today. It's plain racism and has clearly caused a huge amount of racial trauma for him and many others impacted by racism in sport 💔
