Tanstack DB is a reactive client store for building super fast apps on sync. Based on a TypeScript implementation of differential dataflow, it's type-safe, declarative, incrementally adoptable and insanely fast 🔥
TanStack DB is now in BETA! We’ve been working on TanStack DB, an embedded, reactive client database for TanStack Query, and are proud to announce today that with the 0.1 release that it's now in BETA!
yeah, that's our mission with Electric — to make real-time easy. All you have to do is write to Postgres. We built DB as a complement to this.
🚀 I'm happy to finally introduce my new interactive tutorial for @tan_stack DB! It features: ⭐ a practical guide (6-7 mins), ⭐ examples from a ✨TODO✨ app, ⭐ and a full back end simulated in your browser (db powered by @ElectricSQL 's pglite) link below 👇
This is what I'm going to be sharing for a long time as the best intro to TanStack DB & @ElectricSQL If you're curious about this stack, this should be the first thing you watch.
TanStack DB + Electric SQL The sync layer your Postgres + React app wishes it had. Live queries, real-time collab, reliable sync, all incrementally adoptable and inside your own infrastructure. Just posted my full walkthrough: youtu.be/ae05QlM50DI

PGlite has jumped to 2.6 million downloads per week thanks to our friends @prisma and the v7 release 🚀🥳 When you run `npx prisma dev` it fires up PGlite in the background to run your development environment. Super nice DX!
I love @EffectTS_ so much, this is all the code required to consume an @ElectricSQL shape, pull them into a queue and then automatically clean everything up on server stop.
@tan_stack DB + @ElectricSQL + pglite is sooo good wdym I just created a local-first, realtime, super fast lexically and semantically searchable (pgvector), cron-activated (pgcron), infinitely-scrollable (tanstack virtual), transactional and optimistic system in under an hour?!?
@tan_stack DB's latest update fixed their biggest issue. Honestly mind blown with this library I made a video explaining it in detail, check it out👇!
The one and only @josevalim is in SF for @sfrubyconf so @evanwilliams grabbed him for an Elixir meetup this Thursday! Come down and join us luma.com/lu50h29w
Query-Driven Sync is going to be transformational IMO. It's already changed my perspective on not just modern server state, but also app state. It's bred from so many great ideas and tools that have come before it, built on top of bulletproof patterns and even some of our own…
🚀 TanStack DB 0.5 is here with Query-Driven Sync Your component's query IS the API call. No custom endpoints. No GraphQL resolvers. Just write your query and DB figures out exactly what to fetch. Details 🧵👇
Awesome intro to Sync Conf from James Arthur @thruflo of @ElectricSQL, asking the question where Sync fits in to this fast changing world of AI. Sync, as it happens, is a key component to this bright future!
We've just shipped query driven sync for @tan_stack DB! Huge lift to get here - this is the DX I dreamed of when I started working on sync. Define where data comes from (anywhere!) as collections, and then query over those collections in your components. 🪄🎉

You didn’t think we weren’t going to drop something big for @sync_conf did you? Query-driven sync. In @tan_stack DB. No re-write needed. Let’s do this 🔥

Tanstack-DB giving full optimistic updates in a single line of code 🤯👨🍳🤌🏻
🧵The Sync for Agents lineup at @sync_conf is 🔥 with @leeb from @OpenAI , @swyx from @cognition, and @threepointone from @Cloudflare.
AI and data infra events in SF - This week I’ll be at @smalldatasf and @mastra’s Typescript AI conf. Next week I’ll be at @sync_conf and satellite events.
