I forgot to tweet the other day... I'm releasing the first batch of V2.0 adapters in 3 hours time at 5:00pm BST: electromodder.co.uk/buy
Adapter V2.0 already implemented: - Updatable firmware - N64, GC and Wii CC support - Input display x3 (micro USB port) - 4 x GC -> N64 mappings - 4 x N64 -> VC mappings - Hard + Soft triggers + variable threshold - Disable mapping option (for GC) Still waiting for parts!
Not sure if I ever showed this off. Here's a Famicom RGB mod board I made at the start of last year. It has 17 built-in colour palettes which you can change on the fly. This is actually where the CPLDs for the first adapters came from!
All the adapters are finished and tested! I was able to package and ship most of them this afternoon... but a few are left which I'll package and ship first thing tomorrow.
Going to try to post adapter progress and updates here occasionally. Had to improvise a new flash programmer today, as I just ran out of all the ones I programmed months ago. Making good progress on this batch though, they should be finished either tomorrow or the next day 🤞
For years my cnc has skipped steps, especially with a heavier-duty spindle. Little did I know, all it took to work perfectly was to spend £26 on new stepper drivers from Amazon...no need for a £300+ Gecko G540 here!
The dev-board prototype vs the first soldered up custom PCB. Many months of banging my head against a wall to get to this stage.
Been working on something for a while now... On the home stretch!
Finished a project I've been working on! This whole 3D prining malarkey actually seems quite useful! Video soon...
After trying many different temperatures, speeds, settings and glues... I seem to have finally printed something!
Improvised an enclosure for printing ABS... testing it now...
It seems to work surprisingly well straight out the box! Just some minor upgrades required...
A new toy!? After all this time??? I wonder what it could be...
Put my bandsaw to the test by milling some small logs into timber... worked great!
Finished the mobile bandsaw base! Also stopped the table wobbling and trued up the tilt trunnion and fence. Only £40!
Bought a 305mm (12") bandsaw today. Works great besides the table being wobbly (fixable)... £40 and hardly used!!! :D
