It's out! I wrote this report with @NLemosDekker and @NFBrenman about their brilliant workshop on imagining speculative futures with chronic illness. I presented on the medical-device industry's use and co-production of the idea of avoidability of pressure ulcers.

Up now: the "Interrogating Speculative Futures" workshop report from Els Roding @elsroding, Natashe Lemos Dekker @NLemosDekker & Natassia Brenman @NFBrenman: somatosphere.net/2022/workshop-…

After a couple of days filled with inspiring presentations by @toni_modelhart, @CharlotteWltz and many more, the @medantheurope conference is almost coming to an end. I feel incredibly lucky for being able to attend, speak, and exchange ideas with so many brilliant colleagues!

So excited to be speaking at the @medantheurope conference in Warsaw today! I will be sharing the lessons I learned about pressure in the past year and a half of conducting my study during the Covid-19 pandemic. I’m kicking off the conference as the first speaker. Wish me luck!

I have spent the past two days learning from brilliant scholars about imagining futures with(out) chronic illness and chronic wounds. I couldn't agree more with @Annelie3ssen. A big 'Thank you' to the organisers @NLemosDekker and @NFBrenman and the speakers!

Tissue Viability nurses raise awareness of pressure ulcer prevention in incredibly creative ways, putting a smile on my face every time I come across one of these efforts. What do you do to raise awareness of #pressureulcerprevention ? youtube.com/watch?time_con…
