C was paid her entire fee. For a role she accepts she would never have done. She litigates, with legal advice, and loses. No sympathy on costs-sorry CLC
Crowdfunding probably not, unless some clear link between conduct of proceedings and party providing funding, but Good Law Project and similar organisations who actively participate in litigation while also supporting the cause of the litigation should certainly consider this.
Judgment was handed down today in the EAT case of Omooba. Chris Milsom and Tom Coghlin KC of Cloisters successfully resisted the appeal on behalf of the Respondents. The judgment includes important guidance for belief discrimination cases ➡️ cloisters.com/insights/seyi-…

Well, I would not have received an apology or a settlement. I wouldn't have had expert legal advice. And I would almost certainly not have got to discuss the issues around the termination of my own employment with journalists.
