what's your number 1 pain point while traveling? this is triptimize, we let you swipe on destinations to build your perfect personalized itinerary. working on adding bookings for hotels/activities/car rentals/flights as well as locking in activities to specific times.

i'm going to say it: codex sucks at coding, you're just shit at prompting and it's slightly better for more vague instructions

apparently even if you tell people that you're giving free stuff away every week until the end of the year when you're giving away a $10k vacation, that won't get them to sign up triptimize.app if you want to have really good odds of winning my money

day 2: fixed limits on activities, showing a vanity metric for how many days we've saved on planning a trip (up to 35 days saved out of our 1m by 2028 goal) to do for tomorrow: bug fixes on main app

you'd think it'd be easier to get people to sign up to win a $10k vacation to grow your socials but here i am with a very high chance that one of my friends gets it lmao triptimize.app to sign up

alright, actual day 1 of posting my progress every day as i build: today's goal - fix BI dashboard to actually get all-time total swipes & unique activities does anyone have a good way to consistently grab an instagram account's follower count? i guess i could just scrape it

how important is it for a pre-seed company to be showing capex if one of the things we're looking for immediately are fractional cfo services? like i know how much i'm spending on this while we're bootstrapping, i'm just not putting it an excel doc rn

I'm building a better way for anyone to plan their travel in ~10 minutes instead of ~18 hours on average. Do you think this does a good job explaining that?

field of dreams was lying i built it no one's coming don't ignore marketing till the last second

scale of 1-10, how much do you like roadmaps for companies you want to track progress of

I'm better at marketing this at in-person events than online. How tf do yall get in front of your audiences online?

who wants to check off a bucket list item? doing a $10k vacation giveaway to grow the brand. comment the place you'd go to if i gave you $10k. triptimize.app to enter

i dont think i've ever been more tired and more energized than after this sf->la tech week

SF really is just built different How can any other city even come close to replicating this

Hilarious that yc now requests full stack ai companies in slow moving industries after I get declined pitching exactly that for a year to them

aaand finished up an undo/rewind button with animation for users that make a mistake :)

added a swipe completion animation for this to be a bit more intuitive for users that aren't as familiar with a swipe-based interface.

someone convince me to not go back to japan right now and lock tf in
