The more I travel to Koparkhairne - Vashi belt, the more I realise the need of direct metro connectivity and a lost opportunity. Line 6 should have been till Ghansoli station - Millenium Business park in the first phase itself instead of restricting it till Vikhroli. 1/3
36 km/hr average speed on Aqua line as recorded! Fastest in Mumbai. Train hits 80 kmph top speed multiple times. I wish Red/Yellow line average speed increases by making train faster in some more sections. Aqua line can touch 40 kmph average speed someday!

First and foremost, prioritize BEST. Buses can survive well with metros, and have seen this in many countries. This will require replanning of routes. Next, stop new auto rickshaw permits in Mumbai, and reduce taxi permits. Let the old ones 🛺 stay and slowly sunset.
