To celebrate 75 years of Fairfield City library services, test your knowledge of our libraries and take a trip down memory lane as we explore our rich history with trivia! We encourage families of all ages to join and challenge each other. There are prizes up for grabs! 🏆

Celebrating 75 years of Fairfield City library services! Enjoy a week of special programs, engaging activities and events for all ages across our branches. ✨Mixed Media and Mocktails, Family Trivia and Storytime and Craft. Programs run from Tuesday 7 to Friday 10 October.

We have extended our opening hours at Fairfield and Whitlam Library for HSC study from Monday 21 July until Thursday 6 November. Whitlam Library opening hours will extend to 10pm, Tuesday to Thursday and Fairfield will extend to 8pm on Mondays and Wednesdays to support students.

Join us at Fairfield City Museum and Gallery for a special storytime on Wednesday 9 July 10.30-11.30am followed by art and craft activities! Explore the Vintage Village, immerse yourself in stories, and express yourself with creative activities. Visit our website to register!

We had an egg-cellent time crafting this month! 🐰🌸🥚 Our latest crafters were full of Easter cheer creating Easter cards! They learnt how to make pom-poms using forks and experimented with layering flowers and butterflies for dimension. 🦋

Whitlam Library Cabramatta is undergoing upgrades to improve accessibility for everyone.🚧❌Due to this, the library will be CLOSED from Monday 14 April to Sunday, 4 May and will reopen on Monday 5 May 2025. ❌🚧 You can still visit our other library branches during this time!

Mayor of Fairfield Frank Carbone awarded the winners of the Mayor’s Summer Holiday Program 2024-2025 yesterday afternoon at Whitlam Library Cabramatta. The program is comprised of three age groups and we had 346 children complete the program!

Last week we had the pleasure of hosting the Annual Home Library Service Christmas Party at Whitlam Library Cabramatta🎄It was a wonderful day with our local housebound residents with festive food, lucky door prizes, live music, Christmas carols, dancing and a visit from Santa🎅
