And by "the worst people," he means anyone with actual lived experience under collectivist regimes. They must sell the socialist fantasy, because socialist reality is poverty and failure.

If you have to adjust measured data so it matches your theory, then you are not practicing science. In any other line of work, manipulating data to fit your theory would get you fired or arrested for fraud. Climate scamming academics get away with it, though.
GHCNd data are not adjusted for instrument changes, station moves, time of observation changes, etc., and are not homogenized either. It is not advisable to use them for climate-related analyses.
Countries/regions with country/region-specific currency and economic problems tend to SELL gold, not buy it at an accelerating pace. For example, see SE Asia in 1997-98, Russia in 1998, or Americans since the GFC (selling grandma's gold at countless "We Buy Gold" stands.)

Rugged individualism is the path of freedom and prosperity, America proved it. Incremental improvements in services and distribution are essential to avoid catastrophic income inequality, absolutely. But you don’t kill the goose because not everyone gets the same number of eggs.

CO2 is the climate control knob. If the Earth did not have atmospheric CO2, there would be no greenhouse effect, and solar energy would simply radiate out into space without bouncing back - and the average surface temperature on Earth would drop to -18°C (0°F).
