We are deeply concerned & frustrated by the NCSE SNA Review Guidelines, which will inevitably lead to yet more unwarranted & unsustainable cuts to our most vulnerable pupils & will severely impact the educational experiences of all pupils. Please sign&share chng.it/rcvxWvt2zc

Brilliant news. Well done @forsa_union_ie @Forsaschoolsecs Hopefully full and fair resolution is reached. Fair play 🙌 We are so relieved too to have our colleagues back on Monday.

📢Strike Withdrawn - well done to secretaries & caretakers!! After agreement at the WRC with: - Commitment to negotiate comparable pension entitlements - Discussions on caretakers' pay framework - Access to bereavement, sick & acute illness protocols rte.ie/news/education…

A tough week. We hope you are all OK. We stand with our secretaries & caretakers & hope for reason & fairness to prevail & a positive resolution to the strike. Stay strong 💪 #pensionparity @forsa_union_ie @Forsaschoolsecs

On paper, that looks supportive; in practice, it outsources the risk to principals and teachers. bit.ly/46iwVbp

Great to see. Our secretaries and caretakers need the support of colleagues, management, school communities to bring this strike to a positive resolution. #PayParity @forsa_union_ie @Forsaschoolsecs

Wishing the very best of luck to our secretary and caretaker colleagues starting their just strike tomorrow. We value you. You are not alone. We hope for a swift and fair resolution. Our schools will be lost without you. #PensionParityNow @forsa_union_ie @Forsaschoolsecs

📣 STRIKE STRIKE STRIKE 📣 NOW NOW NOW 📣 PENSIONS PENSIONS PENSIONS 📣 NOW NOW NOW Dublin this evening! Caretakers and secretaries are ready to take on the government. See you all outside the Dept of Public Expenditure this Thursday 28th at 11am.

This is my grandmother Margaret. She has been a school secretary for 28 years. She will retire without an occupational pension. This is wrong - Pension Parity should be given to all! The Minister must act to avoid strike! @HMcEntee @Education_Ire @labour @forsa_union_ie

Our school secretaries are invaluable in our schools. They deserve all of our support.

Why are school secretaries & caretakers going on strike? Listen to Fórsa member Victoria Luke on Claire Byrne explain the deep injustice that has forced this action. The Dept of Public Expenditure still had time to avoid the chaos, if they do the right thing.

Chronic underfunding of schools was a key issue we raised with Oireachtas Members in Leinster House last June. Sadly, this could become the reality for many more schools if nothing changes.

The principal of a Dublin school has said it will have to close because it can no longer afford to pay basic bills breakingnews.ie/ireland/dublin…

NPF's Alan Kelly will feature on tonight's show, highlighting the issues we principals wish to raise in relation to the systemic inadequacy of supports for our pupils with additional needs.

Live from 10pm, @gavreilly will be joined by Rebecca Meehan, Micheál Carrigy, Claire Kerrane, Alan Kelly and Niamh Griffin to discuss: 🚨 The chronic shortage of services for children with special needs. 🚨 Deadlock on Dáil speaking rights #TonightVMTV
